How to Help Those Impacted by the Devastation of Hurricane Helene

Dear NACPA Members and Friends:

The tremendous destruction caused by Hurricane Helene continues to unfold in parts of Florida and North Carolina. In particular the Dioceses of Charlotte and St. Petersburg have been impacted by this tragedy.

100% of all donations will be directed to those affected by the natural disaster.

NACPA encourages all members to continue to pray for those who are suffering from the impact of the hurricane and to support their well-being and future safety with donations to the diocesan relief efforts.

We are grateful for your support.

Regina Haney
Executive Director

The Diocese of St. Petersburg encompasses five counties in Florida and the diocesan website notes that “People are in shock and grieving from devastating loss and we are accompanying them.”

Patty Rudis reports that they are "very busy finding short-term and long-term assistance for those who have been displaced and for parishes that are currently unable to serve their communities.  We also are working on temporary accommodations for students whose schools cannot re-open in the foreseeable future."

To provide support for this area, checks may be sent to:
