We are heartbroken to share the news of the passing of Deacon Clarence G. McDavid, a beloved and long-standing member of the NACPA community, and former Director of Human Resources with the Archdiocese of Denver. Deacon McDavid was not only an active participant in our association but also served with distinction on our Board of Directors, offering his wisdom and guidance.
Deacon McDavid’s commitment to NACPA was evident in everything he did. He found great meaning in his involvement with NACPA, sharing this sentiment in his final words to us: "Thank you to NACPA for providing me with the opportunity to be an active member of such a powerful organization." This message serves as a testament to the powerful connections that have been forged within our community.
His contributions and his presence will be deeply missed. Please keep Deacon McDavid’s family in your thoughts and prayers.
An Excerpt from Deacon Clarence's Obituary on His Life in Human Resources
In addition to serving as a Deacon, Clarence enjoyed a fulfilling career in human resources, working in a variety of industries from banking, mortgage, and state government. In 2001, Deacon Clarence began working at Rose Medical Center in Human Resources where he proudly served until 2015. In 2015, Deacon Clarence took on his final job in Human Resources working for the Archdiocese of Denver until he retired in 2020.
