CULTIVATING CREATIVE LEISURE
While many persons in our culture have developed a strong work ethic, not many have developed a leisure ethic. This under-developed aspect can seriously affect life satisfaction in later years. This program examines the work ethic in the United States, attitudes towards leisure, creative potential and qualities of the creative person. The topics will be discussed in relation to all aspects of the person: physical, emotional, social, spiritual and intellectual. Participants will explore not only the concepts presented, but will have the opportunity for self-assessment, reflection and planning.

STRATEGIES FOR A THIRD AGE MINISTRY
This workshop is designed to assist priests and religious in the development of meaningful strategies for retirement. The ideas to be reviewed include financial planning, new ministerial directions, lifestyle changes and the spiritual aspects of aging. Through a series of presentations, group interactions and individual sessions, priests and religious will gain a better understanding of what is needed to be successful in the Third Age of their lives.

HEALTHY PSYCHOLOGICAL ATTITUDES FOR AGING
This workshop explores the psychological and social aspects of the aging process and emphasizes the importance of healthy attitudes for continued psychological development and life satisfaction. Topics are discussed in a holistic context within the interrelationships of all aspects of the person: physical, emotional, social, spiritual, intellectual. Participants will have an opportunity for self-assessment, reflection and planning.

HOLISTIC AGING FOR PRIESTS
In this workshop, participants will examine the concept of the Third Age, current cultural values of society and personal experiences of the aging process. Presenters will focus on the individual’s responsibility for holistic aging and the diocesan planning that needs to take place. Participants will examine their projected needs during the retirement years and will begin the planning process.

MINISTRY ASSESSMENT IN THE THIRD AGE
In this workshop, participants will examine the concept of the Third Age, current cultural values of society and personal experiences of the aging process. This program addresses the issues of transition and self-concept when changing ministry to full time, part time or volunteer positions.

SUBSTANCE ABUSE/PSYCHOLOGICAL TREATMENT PROCESSES
This workshop is designed for those who are responsible for the care and after care of priests who are dealing with substance abuse or who need psychological treatment. Content is focused on when and how to intervene, developing referral resources, choosing appropriate treatment facilities and design and implementation of effective after care programs. Sample diocesan clergy personnel policies related to these issues are also available.

ISSUES OF SEXUALITY IN THE WORKPLACE
This workshop addresses specific issues of sexuality which appear and/or impact the workplace in negative ways. Specific topics include: dysfunctional sexual behaviors, policy development for issues of sexual concern, sexual harassment and legal issues to consider.

ISSUES OF SEXUALITY FOR CLERGY
This workshop addresses specific issues of sexuality which appear and/or impact church organizations in negative ways. Specific topics include: dysfunctional sexual behaviors, policy development for clergy dealing with issues of sexual concern, workplace issues including sexual harassment and other legal issues to consider.

ISSUES OF SEXUALITY FOR CONGREGATIONS
This workshop addresses specific issues of sexuality which appear and/or impact the congregation in negative ways. Specific topics include: dysfunctional sexual behaviors, policy development for issues of sexual concern, workplace issues including sexual harassment and other legal issues to consider.
