THE INDIVIDUAL AND THE INSTITUTION:
Strengthening Working Relationships in the Church
Based on the NACPA position paper of the same title, this workshop examines the realistic work expectations of the individual and of the institutions that employ them. (more information)

THE CHURCH AS EMPLOYER
This workshop examines the roots of our faith in areas related to workplace justice and issues specific challenges to church employers for modeling fair personnel practices and responsible stewardship of human as well as financial resources. (more information)

PASTOR AS PERSONNEL DIRECTOR
This program examines the skills, competencies and spirituality needed to exercise the many roles and to meet the expectations of being a pastor in today’s church. (more information)

MINISTRY WITH MEMBERS
This workshop is designed for persons in religious congregation administration and is particularly helpful for people new to these positions. It deals with the tensions and challenges of ministry within the congregation - both how to deal with them and how to reflect on them. (more information)

AS LEADERS LEAVE OFFICE
This workshop provides a reflective environment for individuals and/or teams to probe realistically the leadership experience and to plan creatively for the next ministry. (more information)


HUMAN RESOURCE IMPLICATIONS IN LEADERSHIP TRANSITIONS
This workshop examines the natural steps in a time of transition, the skills and tasks needed as new members of leadership teams begin their work together, a workstyle inventory to be completed by all team members and a careful review of the practical elements of moving into and out of leadership.
